Saturday Work Days:
March 20th – Primary focus is outside clean up & cutting dead trees
April 17th – Repair slide / Open Pool (Noted that CIT training would also be going on this day).
May 1st – Work on retainer wall for future playground construction.
May 15th – General Needs: (Noted that State CTS would also be going on at Martin Hill this day).
May 29th – Women’s Work day (LAST DAY BEFORE CAMP!!!)
Focus on cleaning interior buildings etc.
If there is something you can do to assist us in preparing for camp but cannot make one of these dates, please contact Rev. Dennis Kizzire (Call 662-213-0231 or email kizzire1@comcast.net). We will gladly work with you individually or with your church group to make arrangements. Please see the attached Project List.
Counselor and Staff Training Dates:
April 16th-17th – C.I.T. (Counselor in Training) & Interviews Session: A training session for all CIT applicants is held each April to communicate expectations and responsibilities to those who would be workers during camp. All applicants MUST attend the training session. This is also the time that CITs are interviewed by the camp board. Not all applicants will serve as CITs, but those who do not attend the training session will not be considered.
April 24th – (9am -12 noon) Director and Adult Staff Orientation: A time to share ideas and discuss expectations during the camp session. All Directors/Co-Directors should attend.
