Counselor In Training (C.I.T.)

Morganwood Free Will Baptist Youth Camp offers the opportunity for spiritually and mentally responsible teenagers to serve as counselors during the camp season. Morganwood’s CIT program seeks to give young leaders a chance to further develop their leadership skills as well as aid in the ministry of Morganwood Free Will Baptist Youth Camp.

A training session for all CIT applicants and other workers is held each April to communicate expectations and responsibilities to those who would be workers during camp. All applicants MUST attend the training session in April (exact dates will be announced later). This is also the time that CITs are interviewed by the camp board. Not all applicants will serve as CITs, but those who do not attend the training session in April will not be considered.

Requirements for CIT Applicants:

Must be a Christian and have an adequate understanding of salvation.
Must be 15 years of age or older
Must be recommended by their Pastor
Must complete the 2010 CIT, Volunteer, & Staff Application
Must attend the training session in April

ADULT COUNSELORS & VOLUNTEERS
If you would like to work in any capacity during our camping program in 2009, please complete the application (2009 CIT, Volunteer, & Staff Application) and mail to: Camp Administrator, Morganwood Camp, 146 CR 1702, Saltillo, MS 38866 before April.
